The windows are made of 1/8" Lexan, which is much stronger than glass and has good insulation properties. It's designed to last. Our window latches are made of durable walnut.

Thanks that was good info!
I usually have good luck with 'Bee Built" products and have bought this product before. This time something was off. The pieces didn't fit. The plexiglass window was too long and too tall and required modification. Same with the cover board for the window. I had to cut 3/8'' of both dimensions on both pieces. Just glad I had the tools to do it. Additionally the shipment tracking indicated the product didn't ship for 4 days after I ordered it which was also mildly frustrating from a usually great company.
Always love my bee built boxes. Factory second or not they are always high quality
One of the viewing window slats cuts was slightly off. I notified customer service and they got a replacement ready and I had it the next day. Overall I was happy with the purchase
The box kit was easy to assemble and the construction was high quality. This is a quality business with good, reliable products. I’m very happy with my purchase.
