Made by BeeBuilt in Oregon from sustainably-harvested Western Red Cedar, our Warre hives include two boxes with viewing windows, an improved roof design, quilting box with sustainable hemp insulation, and a newly designed, stronger base.

Our Warre hive kits feature ⅞" (22mm) thick boxes, rabbet joints to better control breezes and light, and both the screened base and all fasteners are made from 410 stainless steel for more strength, great looks, and longevity.

Sloped handles allow for improved rain runoff and better grip for lifting.

The precision milled, one-piece top bars encourage your bees to build beautiful, straight combs.

1/8" Lexan viewing windows are much stronger than glass with good insulation properties, and designed to last. Our window latches are made of durable walnut.

Warre’ hive purchase

The kit was well packaged, the instructions were clear and concise, and it all came together in a few hours. The completed hive is sturdy and attractive. There was a minor issue of a wooden piece that developed a split along its edge during transport. This was immediately replaced without hassle. Can’t wait to put bees in it!

Sturdy and quick to assemble

They've changed the design from last year, and I like the changes! The hive was fast and easy to assemble, and fits together with pieces from my first hive. Very happy with it.

My Husband put it together and it looks great - can't wait to get our bees, we have been without bees for three years and hoping this hive will help the bees winter a little bit better. very easy to assemble.I just worked on the hive a little at a time. New house keeps me very busy . I probably spent 2 hours total assembling the hive. Instructions were fairly easy to read. All the part fit. I will purchase another one
