It is quite expensive for something so small. I have had chance to use it and it works ok. According to my co-workers this weekend who were assisting me in crushing honey comb with this tool, they stated that it needed a rubber handle. In order to use it effectively it needs to be bolted down to something. I crafted a table from crates and bolted it down. I still had to put some weight on the back side so we could get better leverage. I think that if you are crushing fresh comb it would be perfect, but if you are crushing old comb it is not the best option. With that said, there are not many choices in the bee manufacturing industry for a honey comb crusher. You choices are small fruit presses that you need to change out the disk from wood to metal, or you custom fabricate your own press. With that said, this is a decent, but small comb press.
