Made from clear Douglas Fir, these top bars are designed for strength, durability, and long-term use in horizontal top bar hives. Douglas Fir is an ideal wood for this component due to its natural rot resistance and ability to withstand frequent hive inspections and heavy prying with a hive tool.

These bars are the same style used in our BeeBuilt Top Bar Hives and are compatible with standard BeeBuilt and Les Crowder–style top bar hives.
