This round hive top feeder is perfect for feeding your Langstroth or Warre hives. It holds half a gallon of feed and can fit on top of 8-frame and 10-frame Langstroth hives, and is easily contained in a shallow box. It also fits perfectly on top of a Warre hive.

Hive top feeders

I received the feeders I ordered quickly. And UPS did not damage them this time!
I still recommend NOT stacking them together for shipping. Because we just can't trust UPS not to abuse the packages the deliver.

Nice feeder- works well

Overall, the feeder works well. If I were to improve it, I would indent the sides to make finger depth handles making lifting and handling easier when full. An additional thought would be a clasp type lid that doesn’t slip off while handling.

Decent feeder - interior cup really easy to break

Decent feeder. When its is full it does a great job. Once the interior syrup is consumed, the bees can force their way through into the main cavity, and then can't make their way back out. I've suffered some losses, particularly when using the bee as an exterior feeder.

I need to reach out to bee-built about replacing the interior cup as I've had to crazy glue it 4 times already.

hive top feeder

This item is a great help I can feed the bees without disturbing them. As I am a new bee keeper it would be of great help if items had a some basic instruction on how to use an item.
