Beautiful Cedar Hive

I Bought 2 of these hives. One with 2 deeps and one with 3 mediums to mix. My order arrived complete and within a week. This product is beautiful, high quality and easy to assemble. Would definitely buy again.

Excellent quality and customer service

I bought this item as a gift, and after it was lost in shipping got quick replies and great customer care from BeeBuilt. I checked the contents of the box once I finally received it, and the quality is far superior to anything I have been able to find locally or on Amazon. I know it will be loved, and will not hesitate to purchase from them again.

Great Hive Setup

I purchased the Western Red Cedar deep hive and medium super for my first hive. The quality is amazing and the instructors were very clear. I put 2 coats of Tung Oil on it and it looks incredible. Excited to get my bees in the spring. Thanks a lot!

Review n Comment !

I'm an old Beethinking customer n glad the company changed hands n didn't just go away. I have two full Beethinking 8 frame deep setup n double shallow honey super. I also have one Cedar Flow-hive. Since I'm getting older I plan on eventually changing my other three 10 frame hives over to lighter Cedar 8 frame deep hives. It's much easer for this old goat to handle. As I get funds you'll be seeing at least one order for a Cedar 8 frame deep setup this winter. And to Jasmine in Florida ! Please use your inner cover/crown board. If you don't your bees will quickly bee glue the Roof to the super below it. It can be a major task getting it free without damaging the roof n super below it. That part of the purpose of an inner cover !! Trust me .. you don't want the personal experience of trying to separate the pair. Sincerely yours, Gerald

Looks good but missing and warped parts

This looks great, the problem is that one of the ends of a box was warped and it took some finessing to get it to assemble. Also the assembly instructions for the roof say that it comes with double-sided sealing tape to be used on the seems of the shingles. My kit was missing that tape. I'm excited to put my bees in it when spring arrives.

Bee Built

Hi Jason, Thank you for your recent purchase! I'm sorry to hear you ended up with a warped box end, if you let me know exactly what piece you need, I will ship a new end out to you immediately. Also, it looks like we accidentally sent some outdated instructions out with your hive kit. We never ended up including the double sided sealing tape because we felt it was difficult to work with and did not work as well as caulk or silicone which we suggest in our current instructions. That being said, if you would prefer the double sided tape, I will send that out to you with your new hive end! If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask!
