It was easy to install. Worked great when straing the honey.

Very well crafted, larger diameter than others. Worth the extra money, proving you get what you pay for, especially in this case.

I got a few 3 1/2 gallon food grade buckets for free at the local donut shop in Massachusetts. I cut the hole in the bucket with a 1 7/8" hole saw that I had for my drill and cleaned up the edges of the hole with a box cutter blade. Because the curve of the bucket i used a hand held propane torch that I had to heat the bucket just enough to warm it up. I found a scrap piece of wood that fit in the honey gate to hand tighten the nut. It was a perfect fit and should work good when I need it. It took less than five minutes to install.
