Bee Built Warre boxes are milled in Portland, Oregon using kiln dried, FSC® certified clear Douglas Fir, or Western Red Cedar. Our Warre boxes use 7/8" thick FSC® certified lumber, 16 stainless steel screws and rabbet joints for superior strength and longevity.

Our standard window makes it easy to see in without disturbing your colony—a great option for new and hands off beekeepers!

Warre boxes measure 13 3/4" wide by 13 3/4" long by 8 1/4" deep. Boxes are made from 7/8-inch thick lumber.

required modifications

I usually have good luck with 'Bee Built" products and have bought this product before. This time something was off. The pieces didn't fit. The plexiglass window was too long and too tall and required modification. Same with the cover board for the window. I had to cut 3/8'' of both dimensions on both pieces. Just glad I had the tools to do it. Additionally the shipment tracking indicated the product didn't ship for 4 days after I ordered it which was also mildly frustrating from a usually great company.
